:: NOT [nice to meet you]

Usually its not! And I am talking about 99% of the times… it wasn’t really nice to meet you, in fact, it was bad, it was horrible, I am not exaggerating… no no!!

When I travel, and consider that I am a mid-twenties awesome super handsome single model, I fantasize to be seated next to a girl with the same level of attractiveness! Or more! And sometimes, greedily enough, I hallucinate that she is smart enough to hold a conversation for 3+ hours!!

When the above happens (once every blue moon) two smart people of the same level of attractiveness on 35 thousands feet altitude, they talk for few hours about everything, sometimes very private info, weird experiences, where they from, where do they live, why they are travelling, where they are going,,, they elaborate thoroughly about what they do in life, but for some strange reason, they don’t exchange names!! Have you noticed that most of the times you don’t exchange names with the person travelling next to you before you actually land,,, and I ask myself now,,, WHY?

It’s not a good idea!! Names first!! Simply,,, because we are on the same flight going to the same country, we’re at the same age, having the same nationality, living in the same city, there is a very high possibility that we have at least 10 mutual friends!! (Jordan’s population, demography and social habits are helpful factors as well)… but I found out very late!! Exchanging names, schools and universities, and briefly, previous work experiences are a very very good start to decide whether the girl worth wasting time talking to or not!! I wish I watched that movie or finished that book!! It was a total embarrassing waste of time!!

  1. looooooooooool :) this was really funny :)
yalla ya hamzeh (LIVE and LEARN) thats life :)

  2. may be her name was هريجة or صبحة and she didn’t want to scare you off.

  3. At least u spent the flight beside “a girl” not an ugly, extremely fat, sweaty dude who does nothing but chew food with a noise and then sleep and snore nearly on your shoulder ;)

  4. I hope you don’t be like that the young Arabian servant who loved a maid without knowing her name, describing everything about her leaving the name. It started with a love at first sight and ended dying for striving to know the name!
